An aquaculture project on raising mudcrab in tidal flats has been turned over to the Kalibo Aklan Save the Mangrove Association (KASAMA), a fisheries' organization at Barangay Buswang, Kalibo. The project had earlier been implemented by KASAMA, the Tigbauan, Iloilo-based Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), the Kalibo municipal government, the Community Environmental and Natural Resources Office of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), and USWAG, a non-government organization.
