The weeklong Fish Conservation week celebration of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) starts today. BFAR-6 director Sonia Seville said the yearly celebration is purposely observed to awaken the people's consciousness on conservation and sustainability of fishery and aquatic resources in the region. Seville stressed that the "conservation of fishery and other aquatic resources is a continuing process."
