    Excerpt
Water is an element that plays an important role in our daily life. It is one of the primary needs of humans and the environment to survive. A lot of people around the world are dying due to polluted and contaminated water and poor sanitation. Republic Act 9275 (Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004) aims “to pursue a policy of economic growth in a matter consistent with the protection, preservation, and revival of the quality of our fresh, brackish and marine waters.” The Department of Environment and Natural Resouces (DENR) is taking steps by rehabilitating the environment, especially the strict implementation of compliance to the wastewater treatment which affects human health with contaminated or polluted water.
