Tourism secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat disclosed Tuesday that the rehabilitation on the popular tourist destination Boracay Island has been on track. “So far it’s been successful. Of course sinasabi namin may phases siya. The first phase was nung last Oct. 26, the second phase is April 26 and the third phase is December of this year. So far we are on track…” Puyat told GMA News. Puyat said the Department of Tourism has been in contact with the Department of Public Works and Highways as regards road development in the area.
