    Excerpt
In a move to make the coastlines clean, Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III said the City Government will initiate a clean-up drive. Espinosa has instructed the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) to make a module on how to start the clean-up phase by phase starting in heavily-populated coasts of barangays Calumpang and San Juan in Molo district, and mouth of Batiano River. “What they have been doing in Boracay and now in Manila Bay has created positive results, that is why we will spearhead a coastal clean-up here in our city to make the shores swimmable, clean, and safe,” Espinosa said.
