    The Office of Civil Defense on Monday confirmed the reported oil spill in Bolinao, Pangasinan, coming from a Myanmar ship that sank there Sunday afternoon, killing a Burmese crewman, hurting seven and causing 14 others to go missing. But the Coast Guard said the spotted oil-like formation on the water could be only sheen coming from the m/v Harita Bauxite, which sank after it developed engine trouble. Still, Coast Guard chief information officer Commander Armand Balilo said an oil spill had been sighted in the area measuring three nautical miles. crew.
