    Excerpt
The aquaculture Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC-AQD) has developed the milkfish technology which was supported by more than two decades of research. The Milkfish research on captive breeding and mass fry production was intended to support the sustainable milkfish aquaculture. Meanwhile, the said milkfish technology includes broodstock management where the milkfish is reared in floating net cages and concrete tanks, supplied with flow0through filtered seawater.
