    The success of researches in aquaculture technology should be gauged by its usefulness in boosting production to achieve food sufficiency. Seafdec Aquaculture Department (AQD) is a pioneer in aquaculture researches. Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Director Malcolm I. Sarmiento J. and Seafdec AQD chief Rolando R. Platon agreed with Drilon.
