    SEAFDEC set to launch 1st Mariculture park

    The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center/Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC/AQD) is all set to launch the first Mariculture Park in the country on July 5, 2001 at Igang Bay, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. The project is in collaboration with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the provincial government of Guimaras. The launching will coincide with the Department's 28th anniversary.
