Members of a Technical Working Group on Eco-Tourism conducted an inspection visit in Guimaras last week and cited the province as an ideal eco-tourism site. According to Choegyal, the visit will enlighten their understanding of Guimaras as a tourist destination site. Guimaras is also the site of the Marine Reserve of the University of the Philippines-Visayas and that of SEAFDEC.
