    Excerpt
The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) will undertake a one-month training course on crab seed production from August 14 to September 13 at its main station in Tigbauan, Iloilo. The one-month training course on crab seed production is designed to introduce developed technology on crab seed production in marginal fish farmers, hatchery operators and technicians, and aquaculturists. To maintain the sustainability of crab farming and to reduce the fishing pressure on natural stocks, SEAFDEC-AQD has developed a technology for large-scale production of mud crab seeds beginning 1997.
