The captain and crew of a fishing boat from E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental have been arrested and charged of illegal fishing here. M/BCA Inday Janen, piloted by Joenel Barba with crews Herman Lumanog and Rafael Egoinio, were apprehended for violations of Fisheries Administrative Order 246, which bans the use of Danish seine and modified Danish seine. they were caught engaging in Danish seine fishing, locally known as hulbot-hulbot, in the waters of Barangay San Francisco, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo, according to the Provincial Bantay Dagat Task Force.
