local.seafdecaqd.extractFisherfolks in Western Visayas have recovered their livelihood after the devastation of super typhoon Yolanda two years ago, according to the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR). BFAR-6 regional director Remia Aparri said they have allotted a total of P278 million for livelihood and recovery assistance of fishermen since 2013. Under the “Ahon” project, BFAR has distributed fishing gears, boat engines, and boat repair materials in Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Capiz, Antique and Aklan.en
