    W.Visayas allocated 51 fish landing centers

    The Western Visayas Region, which has 84 coastal municipalities, will get 51 community fish landing centers (CFLCs) out of the 252 planned by the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) for 2015-2016. Of the 51 CFLCs, 17 will be established within the year and the remaining 34 in 2016, according to data from BFAR. For this year, Capiz province got the highest share with seven, followed by Aklan with six, Iloilo with two and one each for Antique and Negros Occidental.
