    Sen. Ana Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros on Tuesday urged President Rodrigo Duterte to bring up the issue of Chinese vessels around Pag-asa (Thitu) Island when he visits China this week. Foreign Affairs Assistant Secretary Meynardo Montealegre said Duterte would join Chinese President Xi Jinping and 39 other leaders and heads of international organizations to the forum to be held from April 25 to 27. He said the President would be one of the lead speakers at the Leaders’ Roundtable on April 27.
