During the National Summit on Participatory Governance Towards Sustainable Fisheries, Agriculture secretary Proceso Alcala said that the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources budget increased from P3.3 billion in 2010 to more than P6 billion in 2015. "As a matter of fact, the last six years of Agri-Pinoy saw a most vigorous implementation of various conservation measures for our fishery resources.
