    Excerpt
Bullish oil players in the country informed Mayor Rolando Distura here of their interest in putting up a depot near the port. Distura informed Panay News on this update yesterday. Three of the oil companies mentioned were Sea Oil, Petroleum Plus, and Shell. With this development, the Local Government Unit (LGU) here is taking steps to revise its Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP) for possible accommodation. "We are actually complying with the requirements to make the area near the pier a conduit for agro-industrial development," Distura said.
