Chinese topped the list of foreign tourists who visited the world-famous island for this year’s first quarter, according to the Department of Tourism (DOT) in Malay, Aklan. The DOT recorded a total of 107,164 Chinese tourist arrivals from Jan. to Feb. 2019. The DOT noted the decline of tourist arrivals was affected by the island’s closure.
