The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) through its Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo recently turned over a captured sea green turtle to the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC) in Tigbauan town. The turtle, measuring 60 cm. long and 50 cm. wide, was captured in a fishpond at Brgy. Sapao, Dumangas, Iloilo. It was found to have been tagged. The right tag had a serial number of P21397. The tagging of the turtle means that it had been captured and released.
