    Excerpt
The Department of Agriculture through the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) will establish crab hatcheries in selected coastal communities nationwide - in partnership with fishfarmers' groups, local government units and Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center-Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC-AQD) - that will provide crablets to fisherfolk and their families for fattening as source of additional income and livelihood, while the excess crablet production will be dispersed in coastal areas to benefit municipal fishermen.
