Agriculture Secretary Proceso Alcala will be in Iloilo City today to open the Agricultural Machineries (Agri Mach) Roadshow to jumpstart the Aquino government’s farm mechanization and post-harvest program. DA regional director Larry Nacionales said the activity is the second leg of the “Agri Mach 2011” Roadshow which will gather hundreds of farmers, irrigators associations, private sector, manufacturers and inventors of various kinds of farm machineries from Regions 6, 7, and 8. “The first AgriMach was held in Luzon, and after the Visayas, follows the Mindanao road show,” Nacionales said in a PIA interview.
