The chairperson of the Commission on Higher Education (Ched) will keynote the 4th University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Graduate Research Conference Saturday, September 24, at the UPV Auditorium in Iloilo City. Dr. Patricia Licuanan is expected to set the tone for the bi-annual conference themed “Addressing the Challenges of Changing Environments.” Researchers, teachers, and students will participate in the conference organized by the UPV Graduate Program Office. Dr. Rogelio M. Florete Sr., Florete Group of Companies chairman; and Dr. Joebert Toledo, chief of the Aquaculture Department of the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center, will also join Licuanan in the conference.
