I would like to commend the young Officers of the Future Leaders of the Philippines and the Council of Deans for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Western Visayas for successfully holding the 11th Future Leaders of the Philippines Regional Agri-related work conference and Regional Assembly on February 27, 2019. Congratulations! The latest survey on courses popular to students and in schools in Western Visayas and in almost all regions in the country showed that Agriculture and Fisheries remained in the bottom rank of all disciplines in higher education. This is a great challenge to our higher education institutions, especially the state colleges and universities offering agriculture and fishery courses.
