| local.description | The Department of Science and Technology Regional Standards and Testing Laboratory (DOST VI-RSTL) in partnership with Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT-U) conducted last March 12-14, 2019 a training course on awareness and conduct of internal quality audit (IQA) based on new laboratory standards at the Research Hub of ISAT U in La Paz Iloilo City. The training aimed to better understand the new requirements, changes, structure and clauses of the ISO/IEC 17025:2017, and implement Laboratory Quality Management System (LQMS). The training-workshop was attended by DOST VI existing internal and potential auditors comprising the laboratory internal audit team, ISAT-U, Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Aklan Environment and Resources Office (AKENRO), Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center Aquaculture Department (SEAFDEC AQD), and Negros Prawn Producers Cooperative (NPPC). | en |
