The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 6 and Negros Island Region (NIR) observed and celebrated the 31st International Coastal Clean Up (ICC) Day last Saturday Sept. 16, 2017. Several employees of DPWH Regional Office, Iloilo 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) and Iloilo City DEO joined to promote better ocean health and environmental consciousness. DPWH Regional Office as well as Iloilo 1st and Iloilo City DEO were designated to clean the trash from the coastal area of Arevalo District specifically the Villa Beach Area (Tatoy's Manokan Seafood to Breaktrhough Restaurant) while Iloilo 2nd DEO cleaned up the Leganes-Dumangas Coastal area.
