local.seafdecaqd.extract | The coastal waters of Western Visayas are free from the red tide toxin, according to the latest Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) bulletin. The BFAR shellfish bulletin No. 34 showed that the coastal waters of Altavas, Batan, and New Washington in Aklan, and Pilar, Panay, President Roxas, Sapian, and Ivisan towns and Roxas City in Capiz do no longer have red tide toxin. BFAR said shellfishes, squids, crabs, shrimps, and alamang collected in these areas are now safe to eat. | en |
