    Excerpt
The local government is eyeing the revival of intensive crab growing under private investors with the construction of a multi-species hatchery. The hatchery had been proposed as early as a decade ago by previous city officials as well as private agribusiness entrepreneurs. Cromwell S. Bonghanoy, Tagum City information officer, told BusinessWorld the regional office of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR-11) has extended P2.4-million financial assistance to augment Tagum’s resources for the project.
