The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources has imposed a moratorium on the release of fingerlings and fry in Taal Lake in a bid to prevent fish kill incidents. It also warned fish cage owners in two Pangasinan towns not to release new stocks until the oxygen level improves in the fish farms. Fish owners are advised to refrain from stocking new fingerlings until the oxygen level improves in the lake, Fisheries Bureau director Asis Perez said on Wednesday.
