    Excerpt
Many coral reefs “bleach” (lose the algae that live in symbiotic partnership with them) when sea temperature rise. For the ignorant, this is a dying episode because of the change in color, which is far from the truth. The corals also bleach when sea temperature fall. That’s because the corals partner with the algae varieties best adapted to their current temperature.
