About 1,115 mangrove seedlings were planted in Barangay Agustin Navarra in Ivisan, Capiz during the World Wetlands Day celebration. The activity was led by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region 6. Employees of Capiz Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PENRO), Capiz State University students, barangay officials and residents, among others, joined the Feb.2 undertaking.
