The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) reported said oil levels in the beachfront of this island resort are way above normal quantities. Samuel Guillergan, chief of EMB's Pollution Control Division, said their latest monitoring in the three stations of the island indicate that oil level in the beachfront area is way above the two milligrams/meter standard. Guillergan was here Monday to present their findings to the stakeholders.
