All is set for the 2nd Ugyonan Seafood Festival on Dec 9-11, 2017 here, said Mayor Marvin Malacon in a press conference on Nov 28. Malacon said they expect more guests in this year’s festival. EB Magalona is known for its famous blue crab which is exported to the United States. Pressed if he intends to declare a seasonal ban on the collection of blue crabs in the town, Malacon said they are studying the matter. The ban intends to allow the spawning of young blue crabs.
