    Excerpt
The South Sea (SCS) dispute has been ongoing for the past years. Nevertheless, progress is happening as the countries involved in the dispute focus on bilateral talks to address the issue, with countries around the world voicing out the importance of peaceful resolutions and abiding to international rules and diplomatic processes. Despite reports of persistent construction of military structures and man-made islands, China upholds that it will not militarize the South China Sea.
