The National Statistics Office (NSO) urged Capizeños to support the ongoing survey on agriculture and fisheries in the province. The Census on Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) in the "Seafood Capital of the Philippines" started on February 25. According to Frankie Dordas, head of the NSO in Capiz, their office needs the support of the public for them gather accurate and complete information which are essential for survey. Earlier, Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas have ordered government leaders of all municipalities and barangays in the country to support the survey for it to become successful. Currently, the survey team is on the phase of listing households, and on the enumeration of agricultural, aquaculture and fishery operators in the province.
