    Excerpt
The smell of dried fishes is so powerful in Barangay Dumolog, Roxas City of Capiz Province that it sometimes lingers in your nostrils even after you have left the village. It is a wonder to behold seeing a whole village drying out fishes. It makes you think if they ever get tired of the smell and what they eat for viand since it may be nauseating to eat the dried fish everyday when you can smell it in the air, you could almost cook the air itself. Barangay Dumolog is a seaside village with the main livelihood of the people in fishing and fish drying. Reaching Barangay Dumolog is easy; just ride a tricycle from the city proper of Roxas and the dirver will take you there. Just be prepared to have your senses blown out.
