    Excerpt
Beachgoers and swimmers here in the popular beach destination are reminded of the potential dangers of bluebottle jellyfish. In an advisory, the Malay Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said the bluebottles are being washed onshore on Puka beach and the eastern coast of the Island by strong winds, and are stranded in the shoreline. The alert was issued since the beaches of Boracay Island have been packed with foreigners and locals in the onset of summer season.
