The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is still helping fishermen back on their feet six months since super typhoon "Yolanda" strick. This rehabilitation effort is embodied in BFAR's "Ahon" Program targeting fishermen who lost their livelihood due to the monster storm. In this province alone, 2,091 fisherfolk whose motorboats were partially damaged have been identified as beneficiaries of the program.
