    Excerpt
Hundreds of Aklanons found this year’s nationwide Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) by the National Statistics Office beneficial since they were hired as enumerators and team supervisors. The census, which started February 25 in Aklan, is conducted every 10 years, according to Provincial Statistics Officer Blas Solidum. “The 2012 CAF is a large-scale government activity which aims to collect and compile basic information on agriculture and fishery sectors in the country to serve as basis for policy formulation and implementation for the country’s socio-economic development,” said Solidum.
