    Excerpt
Manila could bring another case against Beijing before the court that invalidated the latter's excessive claims to the South China Sea, after Chinese Coast Guard was reported to be taking Filipino fishermen's haul from Scarborough (Panatag) Shoal, Acting Chief Justice Antonio Carpio said Friday. "If you want to be forceful about it, we can bring another case against China for not abiding with the ruling," Carpio said in an ambush interview after his speech at a program for the Supreme Court's 117th anniversary. He was referring to the international Permanent Court of Arbitration's (PCA) 2016 decision nullifying China's massive claims to the vital sea lane, a ruling that the Asian giant has since rejected.
