    The Department of National Defense yesterday said China has been putting new structures at Johnson South Reef or Mabini Reef in the Spratlys. It is known by the Chinese as Chigua. This activity contravenes the spirit of the DOC (Declaration on the Conduct) and security cencern of all in the region, said DND spokesman Peter Paul Galvez. The declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the southeast Asian Nations in 2012.
