    Excerpt
The Iloilo City government met 80 fisherfolk to discuss alternative livelihoods and how the government can help them. “Within Iloilo City, almost 15 barangays are dependent on fishing. As one of the poorest sectors in our city, we want to extend help,” Mayor Jose Espinosa III said. Espinosa stressed that the development of the city must be felt by all sectors.
