    P100M worth of projects for Negros farmers, fisherfolks in 2018

    The Negros Occidental provincial government is allocating close to P100 million worth of projects for Negrense farmers and fisherfolk this year. This was announced by Board Member Victor Javellana on August 19, 2018 in his speech during the 2nd Food Production Heroes Assembly at the Social Hall of the Provincial Capitol in Bacolod City. Javellana enumerated the projects they have prepared for the farmers and fishermen this year – the P28 million irrigation developments in nine towns of Negros Occ., P14.6 million for insurance, and P25 million for farm mechanization projects.
