    Fisherfolk here affected by the oil spill were demanding a total of P1.8 million from Seen Sam Shipping, Inc., owner of the sunken M/V Sportivo. The claimants were from barangays Sawang, Dagsaan, Zaldivar, Magsaysay, Santo Rosario and Montpiller in Buenavista town and barangays Hoskyn and Rizal in Jordan. The demand letter was sent on March 24 yet, said Engr. Raymund Moderes, executive assistant of Gov. Samuel Gumarin.
