Around 700 fishermen from the island barangays of Macatunao and Tambaliza in Concepcion town received brand new, motorized fishing boats donated by civic group. Gov. Arthur Defensor Sr. personally graced the two separate programs held to officially turn over the fishing boats to the recipients. The first one was held in Brgy. Macatunao, about an hour boat ride form mainland Concepcion, where there are 133 beneficiaries.
