    R&D boosts mud crab survival

    Much of the improved survival rate is traced to formulated feeds and natural food, according to the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development, Department of Science and Technology, which is funding the National Mud Crab Science and Technology Program to address the challenges in hatchery production as well as improve the production, profitability and sustainability of crab farming.
