It can be said that God had made a good design so that surface water would be fully filtered first before it reaches the aquifer, but man has abused that design so much, so much so that the filtering system is now overwhelmed by the volume of unfiltered water, resulting in the contamination of the aquifer, hence it can no longer be the source of clean potable water in many local human habitats. By comparison, we could say that destroying God’s creation here and there does not make a difference how and why, but without any doubt, water pollution is a bigger problem compared to the other environmental problems, because water is not only life, it is also the one that gives life to the food that we eat. I have no doubt in my mind that graft is one of the causes of bad governance, but it seems that ignorance and incompetence could even be more profound cases.en
