    To boost the aquaculture sector in the Negros Occidental, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is stepping up its consultancy program for industry stakeholders here. DOST Region 6 director Rowen Gelonga, who also heads the DOST-Negros Island Region in a capacity, said they are providing consultancy services to local sector-stakeholders, mainly through partnership with the Negros Prawn Producers Cooperative (NPPC).
