BFAR-6 Regional Director Remia Aparri there is no need to import galunggong because of abundant alternatives. “Although ga-decline aton catch but we have other supplies of fish aside from galunggong especially sa Visayan Sea. We have species of sardines, mackerels na maka-fill in the gap sa production sang galunggong,” she explained.
