    Excerpt
The Department of Agriculture (DA) is inviting suppliers of icemaking equipment, including cold storage facilities and refrigerated transport equipment to submit their offers for shortlisting. The DA is seeking proposals to address problems of the local fishing industry which loses 40 percent of the fish and aqua products harvested due to lack of ice making machines and lack of appropriate transport facilities in many of the country's fishing grounds. Emmanuel Piñol, DA secretary said each submission will be evaluated by a technical team which will then create a shortlist where stakeholders may choose to buy such equipment.
