    Excerpt
Proposals on the closure of Boracay Island may be taken up at the Cabinet meeting today, Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo Guevarra said yesterday. He said a more detailed proposal has been submitted by an inter-agency task force composed of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Interior and Local Government, and Department of Tourism. The task force last moth proposed the total closure of Boracay for six moths starting April 26 to rehabilitate the island resort which President Duterte has said has become a "cesspool'.
